Perfect every exposure, effortlessly. Thanks to improved E-TTL (Electronic Through The Lens) support, the Canon Speedlite EL-1 automatically sets the optimal flash output based on your surroundings and your camera’s focal length. The flash unit also features a Flash Exposure (FE) memory, enabling you to keep shooting using the flash output stored in E-TTL, even if you change from E-TTL to manual mode. Once in manual mode, you can finely adjust your settings to taste.

Featuring an active cooling system and powerful battery, the Canon Speedlite EL-1 delivers fast charging in 0.1-0.9 seconds and more than 160 continuous flashes. See the Light Before You Shoot

See the light before the flash fires. With two inbuilt LED modelling lamps, the Canon Speedlite EL-1 shows you how the light will look before you press the shutter. The modelling lamps can even be used for basic video lighting, giving you even more versatility.

Long-lasting Power 

The Canon Speedlite EL-1 is powered by a new high-capacity Li-Ion battery. This provides a fast recycling time of 0.9 sec (full power) and approximately 335 flashes at full power. With battery life displayed clearly on the LCD screen, you’ll always know when the battery needs changing or recharging.

Intuitive & Weather-Resistant Performance

The Canon Speedlite EL-1 is as easy to use as it is durable in performance. The flash head tilts from -7 to +120° and rotates 180° left or right so you can angle or bounce the light as desired. A handy joystick provides intuitive control over virtually all functions, including wireless settings. The Speedlite EL-1 is also dust- and water-resistant, so you can shoot worry-free in a wide range of environments.
