    The Nikon Nikkor  Z TELECONVERTER TC 2.0x is a compact and lightweight accessory that can double the reach of compatible lenses without compromising image quality. Unlike in-camera cropping, which can result in a loss of over 50% of the image sensor's pixels, this teleconverter allows you to achieve tight compositions while maintaining your sensor's full resolution by shooting in the native image area of your camera.

    Aspherical Lens

    Aspherical lenses are characterized by their non-spherical, curved surface, which helps reduce lens aberrations and enables a more compact lens design. They are particularly useful in correcting distortion in wide-angle lenses and minimizing coma and other aberrations, even when used at the widest aperture. This results in sharper, more accurate images and contributes to a lighter and more compact lens design by reducing the number of spherical elements needed. The aspherical lens elements continuously change the refractive index from the center of the lens to correct for these distortions.

    The Nikon TELECONVERTER TC-2.0x is built to withstand tough shooting conditions. It features an anti-slip knurling tread for improved grip, making it easier to attach or detach the teleconverter in the field. The front and rear elements are coated with Nikon's proprietary non-stick Fluorine Coat, making cleaning a breeze. Additionally, it has dust and drip sealing equivalent to that of an S-Line lens, ensuring that your gear is always ready for even the toughest conditions.
