Zhiyun Transmount Servo Focus Motor Overview
The TransMount Lite is designed to be used with the Crane 3-Lab, and it's also compatible with the WEEBILL LAB. The Crane 3-Lab has the capability to accommodate two motors simultaneously. It is recommended to employ the TransMount Lite, which is slightly lighter, for focus control, while the optional TransMount Max can be used for zoom control. On the other hand, the WEEBILL LAB can only support a single motor, making the TransMount Max a more suitable choice as it can seamlessly switch between focus and zoom control.
With its toolless design, attaching the TransMount Lite to the gimbal is a straightforward process, requiring only the provided thumbscrews. Control can be exercised either through the gimbal's handwheel or the companion smartphone app. To secure it in place, utilize the included support bracket and mounting rod along with two thumbscrews. This assembly is then affixed to the underside of the gimbal's baseplate using the third thumbscrew. Following this, connect the servo to the gimbal using the provided USB cable, and establish a connection between the camera and the gimbal using one of the camera control cables that come with the gimbal package. The USB cable connection guarantees instant and lag-free signal transmission.
