Whether you’re planning a long shoot or just want the peace of mind of backup power, the Profoto Lithium-Ion Battery MkII for the B1 and B1X will ensure that your lights last the distance. The Li-Ion Battery MkII for the Profoto B1 and B1X gives you up to 325 flashes at full power, or tens of thousands of flashes at lower power.
More capacity, faster charging
Compared to the previous model, the Profoto Lithium-Ion Battery MkII for the B1 and B1X offers improved capacity and faster charging. Recharging the battery takes just over an hour with fast Battery Charger 4.5A, just over two hours with standard Battery Charger 2.8A, or three hours with the Car Charger 1.8A plugged into a 12V connector (all chargers sold separately). Charge status LED lights on the battery and both the battery chargers allow you to easily monitor the battery’s charging progress.

The Profoto Lithium-Ion Battery MkII is designed for the Profoto B1 and Profoto B1X AirTTL flash heads.
Safe to fly with
Profoto lithium-ion batteries are UN-certified, meaning you can take them on a plane, no matter where you’re flying to. For full details please read the below documentation, which you’ll need to present to airline staff when you travel.
