It has a 2.4 cm minimum working distance rendering close-up detail with superb resolution and contrast and an aperture of f/3.5 to f/22, which gives photographers better control of the depth of field.
Refined Optical Performance
The Sony 30mm f3.5 Macro Lens offers one extra-low dispersion glass element that reduces chromatic aberrations while maintaining colour fidelity to your shots. Also incorporated in the lens are three aspherical elements designed to lessen astigmatism, field curvature, coma, and other monochromatic aberrations, which improve images taken with a macro lens.
Fast, Accurate Focus
The Sony 30mm f3.5 Macro Lens boasts an internal focus design that contributes to quick and precise autofocusing speeds while keeping its length constant during use. In other words, the lens barrel of the Sony 30mm f3.5 doesn’t move, enabling a more compact design, faster autofocus response, and reduced minimum focusing distances.
Smooth Bokeh Effect
This macro lens from Sony also features a rounded seven-blade diaphragm instead of a standard polygon-shaped lens aperture. This creates a smooth defocusing or bokeh effect on your images when employing selective focus techniques.
