The Gitzo GC5101 Padded Bag is one of Gitzo’s high-quality tripod bags. This carrying solution is designed to comfortably hold tripod and head combinations with folded legs up to 89 cm. The bag is made of padded rip-stop nylon fabric, that is both soft to the touch and protects equipment from shock and abrasions. The GC5101 has an asymmetrical shape, with more space at one end to accommodate larger heads. Contents are accessed through two full-length zippers. It has two, extra-durable, strong touch-fastening carry handles stitched to the outside and around the bag and has a fixed shoulder strap for maximum carrying and handling stability. GC5101 is the choice when the Systematic tripod + head combination is too long for model GC4101, or if the head is too large for a GC4101 tripod bag.
